The agenda for the 2025 DHOA Annual Meeting is below.
This meeting will take place at Kings Park Library on Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 PM. It will begin after library hours, so we will need to enter through the emergency door to the right of the main entrance, behind the book drop. Additionally, the building's heating and cooling is controlled by Fairfax County based on normal library hours. Please plan accordingly for our after hours meeting.
A vote for the Dunleigh HOA Board of Directors will occur at the annual meeting. Per the By-Laws of the Dunleigh Homeowners Association, five (5) elected directors will serve a three (3) year term. These directors will vote annually to determine who, among themselves, will hold the four (4) officer positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Since the board received no interest from HOA members, the current board members served as the Nominating Committee and nominated: Victor DePeralta, Kathleen Jenkins, Laura McGeehan, Helen Nguyen, and Michael Walsh to be on the ballot for the Board of Directors. Nominations may also be made from the floor at the annual meeting. The vote will be conducted by secret written ballot. Each HOA property is entitled to one (1) vote, and may vote in person or by proxy. All proxies must be in writing and filed with the board prior to the annual meeting. The persons receiving the largest number of votes will be elected.
